I won't necessarily claim to be a connoisseur of food, but I do enjoy food and think I know my awesome foods (see me and then say you don't believe me :)). Posts will probably contain everything from recipes for base masalas to full dishes.
I'm south Indian, Hyderabadi and an eggetarian, so expect a healthy dose of podis (spicy powdered mixes that go well with rice, idli's and probably just about everything), pachhadis (chutneys) et al. at first - those are the ones that remain hidden secrets in the hands of the capable grannies.
The goal of starting this was to spread the delicious wealth around a bit and set up what should hopefully be a good reference for some of us cookingly challenged people :). So here we go.
